Oman Interior & Jabal Shams Hike
2 days 1 night
Day 1: Your Oman tour commences by travelling through the Hajar Mountains to the township of Bahla to visit its Fort which considered the oldest and biggest fort in Oman. From here we will continue to Hamra and visit Bait Al Safa –a traditional Omani house- where you will see how Omanis used to live. Also we visit the beautiful old village of Al Misfah; perched on the side of a mountain where narrow ancient stone pathways lead you into the valley below. Next, we will travel to Jebel Shams, "Mountain of Sun" which is the highest peak of the Jebel Al Akhdar mountain range, soaring more than 3,000 meters above sea level. Spectacular scenery and remote villages - this is Oman's Grand Canyon. This is where we will sleep for the night at a mountain resort.
Day 2: Next morning after an enjoyable breakfast we will start our Jabal Shams Hike. This hike will have you walking along the cliff face on narrow ledges and passages. Jabal Shams hike is one of the most popular treks in Oman and is known as the "Jabal Shams Rim Walk". From this amazing vantage point you will enjoy incredible views of the mountains and the rugged landscape. The views from the trail are spectacular and offer unparalleled vistas of Wadi Nakhr. Commencing from the village of Al Khateem situated on the edge of the mountain at a height of 2,000 meters, you will hike approximately about 4 hours, passing an abandoned village of al-Saab and terraces perched on the mountain side. After the hike we drive to Nizwa, the ancient capital of Oman; visit the Traditional Nizwa Souq. Start the journey back to Muscat.

Oman Desert, Beach & Wadi
2 days 1 night
Day 1: Start your Oman tour by travelling through the mountains and desert plains to Ibra and Al Qabil. Our destination is the Golden Sands of Wahiba Desert. At Wahiba we will experience 4W-Driving on the sand dunes, and there will be the opportunity to meet with the Bedouin women and purchase their traditional handicrafts. After this, we will drive along the edge of the desert passing through many traditional towns arriving to Ras Al Hadd, located on the edge of the Arabian Sea. Here we will stay at beach resort. At night we will drive to the turtle beach - Ras Al Jinz, the nesting beach of the Giant Green Turtle, were you will have a guided tour to see the giant green turtles laying their eggs under the stars.
Day 2: After breakfast we will commence our travel to ancient seafaring township of Sur. Sur is where the traditional wooden Omani Dhows are made. It also features many fine old homes with carved doors. Then travel to the famous village of Tiwi and visit Wadi Shab which is considered one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman. You will have ample time to hike through this wadi and enjoy exploring and swimming. From here we will drive to the spectacular Bama Sinkhole before travel through the mountains back to Muscat.

OMAN Heritage
3 days and 2 nights
Day 1: Starting the Oman tour in the morning we will drive to the Oasis of Nakhl. Visit Nakhl Fort and Ain Al Thowarah Hot Springs. Continue to Wadi Bani Awf (walk and swim through the wadi). Next, travel across the Western Hajar Mountains to the fascinating and hidden mountain village of Balad Sayt. Then we will travel to Al Hamra and continue up the mountains to the peak of Jebel Shams - Sun Mountain which is the highest peak of Al Hajar mountains Chain, soaring more than 3,000 meters above sea level. Spectacular scenery and remote villages - this is the Oman Grand Canyon. Sleep for the night at the mountain resort.
Day 2: Next morning after an enjoyable breakfast, if you feel like; we can do a short hike we will walk along the edge of Oman's Grand Canyon. From this amazing vantage point you will enjoy incredible views of the mountains and the rugged landscape. Then we will continue the tour and travel through Wadi Ghul and Al Hamra. In Al Hamra we will visit Bait Al Safa - a traditional Omani house where you will see how Omanis used to live. Next we visit the village of Misfah, which is an ancient village perched on the mountainside, with fantastic views of the wadi below and the terraced gardens of lime, banana and date trees. From here, we continue to Nizwa where we will stay overnight at a hotel.
Day 3: After breakfast we will explore Nizwa. We will visit the traditional Souq where there will be an opportunity to purchase and see many traditional Omani things. From there we will continue the tour and travel to the village of Birkat Al Mawz and to Jebel Akhdar - the Green Mountain. The winding drive up the mountains is spectacular and the views breath-taking. We will see villages perched precariously on the sides of mountains and these offer fantastic opportunities to explore winding ancient pathways and view incredible terraced cultivation. Visit the villages of Wadi Bani Habib, Al Ain and Saiq. After this we drive through the mountains back to Muscat.
